Vanna Black: Crafting Change With Style
Vanna Black is an Afrocentric haute couture fashion Label seeking to not just create beautiful garments, but also open doors for women of color in the global fashion world. We are in the process of building out a cultural exchange program between Harlem, New York, and Bahia, Brazil, to foster entrepreneurship, creative skill-building, and cross-cultural connections.
Our ambition is to build a pipeline for women of color to gain education and practical experience in fashion production, business operations, and design. Your support will enable this effort to come to fruition.
We're uniting Afrocentric haute couture with Bahia's powerful women-led Samba Reggae movement to create economic opportunities through fashion. Help us empower 50 Black women to learn professional fashion production while creating stunning carnival costumes for Salvador's legendary celebration.
In the vibrant heart of Salvador, Bahia, something revolutionary is taking shape. Vanna Black, an Afrocentric haute couture fashion label, is joining forces with Yayá Muxima, a transformative women's Samba Reggae collective, to create more than just carnival costumes – we're crafting futures.
Your support helps write a new chapter in the story of Black women's empowerment in Bahia. Together, we're not just preserving culture – we're creating opportunities that will echo through generations. Please visit our Empower Black Women: Vanna Black x Yayá Muxima donation page to learn more about this collaboration and how you can join us!
